TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of language services by Accent Translations (“Company”) to the client (“Client”). By engaging with the Company and/or utilizing its services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, you should refrain from using the Company’s services.
2. Services Offered
The Company provides a range of language services, including but not limited to translation, subtitling, localization, and other language-related services for the languages listed on the Company’s website or as agreed upon between the Client and the Company.
3. Service Engagement
3.1. Quotation: All service requests are subject to a quotation provided by the Company. Quotations are based on the specific requirements of the Client’s project, including language pairs, volume, and complexity.
3.2. Payment: Payment terms, including pricing, invoicing, and payment methods, will be detailed in the quotation. The Client agrees to make payment in accordance with the agreed-upon terms.
3.3. Project Timeline: Project timelines will be established in the quotation. The Client agrees to provide all necessary information and materials promptly to ensure timely project completion.
4. Confidentiality
The Company and its translators/linguists agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all materials and information provided by the Client, including the content of translation or localization projects.
5. Quality Assurance
The Company strives to provide high-quality language services. If the Client believes that the provided service does not meet agreed-upon quality standards, the Client must notify the Company within a reasonable time frame to discuss potential remedies.
6. Intellectual Property
The Client retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in the materials provided. The Company shall not claim ownership of any translated, localized, or subtitled content.
7. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with written notice to the other party if the terms of this Agreement are breached. Fees for services provided up to the termination date will be due and payable.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to its services, regardless of the cause of action.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and the Company regarding the services provided and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
11. Modifications to Terms & Conditions
The Company reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Company’s website, and it is the Client’s responsibility to review the Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of the Company’s services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government actions, war, terrorism, or any other force majeure event.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The parties agree to replace the invalid or unenforceable provision with a valid and enforceable provision that achieves the same or similar objectives.
14. Waiver
The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it at a later time.
